We meet twice each year. Spring meetings are held in Tulsa, near the anniversary of our State Society's first meeting. Fall "Compact" meetings are held in Oklahoma City, near the anniversary of the Mayflower's arrival in New England.

November 19, 2016: The Greens Country Club, Oklahoma City. Speaker John Waldron presented "Sagebrush to 2016," a thumbnail sketch of Oklahoma history.

March 19, 2015: The Oaks Country Club, Tulsa. Speaker Lea Sinclair Filson, Governor General, presented "Progress of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants: What that means to you and why this is a really exciting time to be a member!"

Fall 2015

November 14, 2015: The Greens Country Club, Oklahoma City. Speaker La Nell Shores presented “Witchcraft in the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Centuries."

 

Spring 2015

March 28, 2015: The Oaks Country Club, Tulsa. Speaker Alan Jarvis presented “From Sagebrush to Statehood,” a narrative chronicling Oklahoma’s path from Indian Territory to statehood, accompanied by art from Tulsa's Gilcrease Museum.

 

Fall 2014

November 22, 2014: The Greens Country Club, Oklahoma City. Speaker Craig Clemons presented “The Wisdom of the West: a glimpse of America’s Western Heritage” with storytelling, live music, and art images.
