HOW TO JOIN

Step 1: DOCUMENTATION

Begin collecting the documents that prove your Mayflower ancestry.

 

Step 2: PRELIMINARY APPLICATION

Contact our historian for a one-page Preliminary Application. Return this completed form and the historian will send you an Application Worksheet with clear instructions.

 

Step 3: APPLICATION WORKSHEET

Return the completed Application Worksheet along with copies of your documentation. Once the historian ensures that your records conform to General Society standards, she will prepare a Final Application and send it to you for your signature.

 

Step 4: FINAL APPLICATION

Return your signed Final Application and application fee. The historian will send this, along with your documentation, to the General Society in Plymouth, Massachusetts for approval.

 

Step 5: APPROVAL

Wait until you hear back from us! Because we carefully verify each application, this may take several weeks. You will receive both an Oklahoma membership number and a General Society membership number once your application is approved.
